Hero MotoCorp has launched the updated Xtreme 160R 4V. The motorcycle now comes in three variants (Standard, Pro and Carbon) and gets cruise control, a ride-by-wire throttle and three ride modes. Bookings are open from October 17, with deliveries starting on November 1.

Up front, it gets a new LED headlamp with H-shaped DRLs, a redesigned fuel tank with sharper tank extensions and new graphics. It is offered in eight colours across the range. The Carbon variant also gets some faux carbon elements on the engine, side panel, and tank. Additionally, the kerb weight is up by 1.5kg and seat height by 5mm.

The Carbon variant gets a TFT console with Bluetooth connectivity and turn-by-turn navigation. The motorcycle also gets cruise control, ride modes (Rain, Road and Sport), a drag timer and adjustable levers. A panic brake alert is also added, which flashes all four turn signals under hard braking. The Standard variant gets an LCD unit and misses out on features like ride-by-wire, cruise control, dual-channel ABS and USD front suspension. The Pro variant also misses out on the TFT display but gets USD forks.
