Tata has launched the Dark Edition on the Sierra, which is an all-black design package layered onto the Legend Series and two Accomplished variants.
The Dark Edition gets a blacked-out exterior, with dark chrome and piano black detailing. It gets #Dark badging on the fenders and 19-inch alloy wheels, which are reserved for the range-topping variant. Inside, the cabin gets a blacked-out interior with purple highlights. It gets leatherette upholstery with purple stitching, purple inserts throughout the cabin, and #Dark graphics on the front-seat headrests.
The Dark Edition starts from the Pure L Dark, priced at ₹14 lakh ex-showroom, and carries the same equipment as its Legend Series counterpart — a touchscreen with an eight-speaker audio system, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a rear camera, cruise control, drive modes, Hill Descent Control, TPMS and leatherette seats.
Moving up, the Pure L(O) Dark (₹14.59 lakh) adds a voice-assisted panoramic sunroof, automatic headlamps and rain-sensing wipers. The Pure+ L Dark (₹15.29 lakh) gets a full leatherette interior, ventilated front seats, a powered driver seat, Boss Mode and dual-zone automatic climate control. The Adventure+ L Dark (₹17.29 lakh) adds a 360-degree camera, Superglide suspension with FDD, terrain modes and larger screens.
Two further variants sit above the Legend Series line-up. The Accomplished Dark, at ₹18.29 lakh, adds Level 2 ADAS, a head-up display and a 12-speaker JBL Black Dolby Atmos audio system. The range-topping Accomplished+ Dark, priced at ₹20.59 lakh, gets triple screens, Level 2 ADAS, ambient lighting, connected tech and powered conveniences.
There are no mechanical changes on the Dark Edition, with every variant carrying the powertrain of the grade it is based on. That includes a 1.5-litre NA petrol engine mated to a 6-speed manual or 7-speed dual-clutch automatic, a 1.5-litre diesel with a 6-speed manual or 6-speed automatic, and a 1.5-litre turbo-petrol paired only with a 6-speed automatic. Availability varies by grade, and the Accomplished+ Dark is offered only with the diesel and turbo-petrol engines.
