E3 Electric.AI, a new Bangalore-based manufacturer, has entered the electric scooter space, and has launched three models: the C1, C1x, and C2.

In terms of design and features, the E3 Trion C range gets LED lighting all around with dual projector headlamps, telescopic front suspension, 14-inch wheels with CBS. It also gets front footrests and the charging port is located at the back of the scooter. A 5-inch digital LCD shows all the necessary information, and has multiple riding modes, along with reverse assist, walk mode, one-touch cruise control, and hill-hold. There’s also a cubby storage, along with a USB Type-A charging port. All three variants are exactly the same; they only differentiate in terms of battery capacity, power, and claimed range.

Two battery packs are on offer – a 2.3kWh removable battery pack in the C1 and a 3kWh fixed battery pack in the C1x and C2. The C1 gets a claimed range of 108 kilometres, the C1x gets 165 kilometres and the C2 gets 128 kilometres of claimed range. All three variants get a single electric motor producing 3.4PS in the C1 and C1x, with a top speed of 67kmph, while in the C2, it produces 4.7PS with a top speed of 82kmph. The C1 can charge from 0-80 percent in two hours and thirty minutes (via AC charging), while the C1x and the C2 take three hours and thirty minutes for the same amount of charge (via AC charging).

Prices for these electric scooters start from ₹99,999 for the C1, ₹1.10 lakh for the C1x, and ₹1.20 lakh for the C2.
