Mercedes-Benz records its best ever January-September sales in India—15,190 new vehicles, which is an eight percent growth over last year. The three-pointed star also recorded its best quarterly sales performance in the third quarter, between July and September 2026, retailing 5,422 vehicles, which is an increase of six percent compared to the previous year. They also recorded a 17 percent quarter-on-quarter sales growth, thanks to customer demand during festive seasons and the success of their “Dream Days” campaign, through which Mercedes-Benz offered financing solutions like the three-month EMI holiday for the GLA and GLC SUVs, interest rates of 6.99 percent on select vehicle lines, and a Key to Key exchange program.

Mercedes-Benz’s top-end luxury portfolio was quite strong during January-September 2026, accounting for more than 25 percent of sales penetration and showing a 13 percent increase in year-on-year growth. Flagship models like the GLS, S-Class, Mercedes-Maybach and the AMG G 63 witnessed strong customer demand. Mercedes-Benz’s MANUFAKTUR programme, which allows customers to personalize their cars to make them feel more premium, accounted for a 75 percent increase in sales of top-end luxury vehicles in India. The AMG G 63 recorded its highest monthly sales in India, despite the long waiting period.

The long wheelbase E-Class continues to be the highest selling luxury car in India. The entry luxury segment maintained a growth of four percent and the total sales mix is approximately 15 percent, thanks to the GLA and the CLA BEV. The BEV portfolio grew by 16 percent during the January-September 2026 period, and the EQS Maybach SUV grew by 68 percent year-on-year. The AMG lineup also grew by 18 percent, a figure that will excite enthusiasts.
