Mechanical changes include a new slip-and-assist clutch, first seen on the 2023 Hornet 2.0

Honda has given its CB200X ADV BS6.2 updates, which means the engine is now OBD2 compliant. The price of the 2023 Honda CB200X stands at Rs 1.47 lakh, ex-showroom. As it shares its engine with the Honda Hornet 2.0, it now gets the slip-and-assist clutch first introduced on the 2023 version of the Hornet.

Another notable change is the fact that Honda decided to ditch the grey shade from the lineup, and replace it with a beautiful dark blue shade. The classic Honda shades of red and black continue to be on offer.

The 184.4cc air-cooled single-cylinder pumps out 17.3PS and 15.9Nm – unchanged from last year. Also, as the motorcycle is based on the Honda Hornet 2.0, it misses out on dual-channel ABS.

The CB200X is a unique offering in the market, though we feel equipping it with different suspension tuning would have bolstered its credentials and made it a more appealing entry-level ADV.

The closest competitor to the Honda CB200X is the Hero Xpulse 200 4V, which also received some updates this year with the launch of the BS6.2 model, however, it is a lot more off-road focused than the CB200X.
