Mercedes-Benz has brought the Mercedes-Benz AMG Vision Gran Turismo concept car to Mumbai, at the Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre. It will be on display at the Cultural Centre until May 2024, with viewers able to interact with a video of the car via a QR Code.

This marks the third concept car Mercedes-Benz has displayed in India, following the Vision Maybach 6 and the Concept EQG.

Lance Bennett, Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Mercedes-Benz India, stated that the company’s vehicles are inspired by a blend of design and future technologies. The Mercedes-AMG GT 6, according to Bennett, emphasises the brand’s design philosophy and aims to evoke emotions through its styling. He also mentioned that the Cultural Centre provides an exclusive and modern ambiance, making it the perfect place to showcase the futuristic concept car in India.

The vehicle’s design features a long bonnet transitioning into a compact greenhouse, with aerodynamic contours. The pronounced wheel arches blend into the low-slung body shell. The radiator grille is a reinterpretation of the wide Mercedes-Benz sports car grille with a central star, featuring LEDs instead of louvres. This grille design is a further development of the diamond grille that was introduced with the new A-Class. The car features a performance of 585PS and 800Nm of torque.

Mercedes-Benz recently collaborated with the Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre to offer customers exclusive experiences in art, culture, fashion, and luxury. These experiences include access to The Grand Theatre’s Diamond Boxes & Lounges, curated food and beverage menus, meet-and-greet opportunities, and showcases at the Art House visual arts space.
