BMW’s vast lineup in India includes the 6 Series Gran Turismo and now it’s got a new limited-run variant with the 6 Series GT M Sport Signature, priced at Rs 75.90 lakh, ex-showroom. Compared to the standard model, there’s not a lot of cosmetic changes but there are more features added to the mix.
As a whole, this special 6 Series GT variant looks largely familiar to the standard model but there’s more bling in the form of additional chrome on the front grille. Head inside, and the changes continue with a soft-close function for the doors and the seats are draped in brown leather with black contrast piping and stitching.
In terms of additional features, there’s now gesture controls for the 12.3-inch infotainment touchscreen as well as a remote parking assist. Key features like 10.2-inch rear seat entertainment screens, wireless charging, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a 16-speaker Harman Kardon Surround Sound system and a reverse camera have been retained from the standard model.
Under the hood, the 6 Series GT M Sport Signature can be specced with only the 630i 2.0-litre turbo-petrol engine pushing 258PS and 400Nm. This is paired to an eight-speed Steptronic Sport automatic gearbox.
With this launch, the BMW 6 Series GT M Sport Signature further enhances the appeal of the 6 Series GT against the likes of the Mercedes-Benz E-Class as well as the Audi A6.
