Simple Energy, the Bengaluru-based automotive startup, has launched the Simple Ultra, priced at₹2.35 lakh ex-showroom. The electric scooter was unveiled earlier this year as part of Simple Energy’s Gen two portfolio and is available for immediate purchase and delivery.
The Simple Ultra is powered by a 6.5kWh battery pack and offers 400 km of IDC range. Top speed is rated at 115kmph with a 0-40kmph time of just 2.77 seconds. The brand claims that it is the second-fastest electric scooter in India, second only to the Simple One 5kWh variant. The scooter is equipped with a 7-inch display and comes with four levels of traction control.
Simple Energy has also planned its network expansion to Nagpur, Ranchi, Bhubaneshwar, and more cities in the upcoming months. It currently operates close to 70 touchpoints across India, including Bengaluru, Delhi, Patna, Bhopal, Agra, Goa, Vijayawada, Hyderabad, Visakhapatnam, Kochi, Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar (Aurangabad) and Chennai.
