Mahindra has launched the XUV 3XO EV at a starting price of ₹13.89 lakh, ex-showroom. The 3XO EV will be offered in two variants – AX5 and AX7L, the latter of which costs ₹14.96 lakh ex-showroom. It is based on the Mahindra XUV 3XO ICE variant and uses the drivetrain from the XUV 400 EV. The 3XO EV has become the entry point to Mahindra’s electric vehicle offerings.
Powering the Mahindra XUV 3XO EV is a 39.4kW battery pack with a motor that produces 150PS and 310Nm and is claimed to deliver a real world range of 285km. Mahindra also claims a 0-100kmph time of just 8.3 seconds. The 3XO EV is packed with features such as Level 2 ADAS with lane keeping assist, automatic emergency braking, pilot assist and adaptive cruise control. It also gets connected car technology with more than 80 features and built-in Alexa, a 360-degree camera with blind view monitor, six airbags, tyre pressure monitoring system and disc brakes on all four wheels.
The XUV 3XO gets three drive modes – Fun, Fast and Fearless, has a twin HD infotainment system with a fully-digital instrument cluster and a seven-speaker Harman Kardon music system with Dolby Atmos. It also has most of the features set trickled down from its ICE counterpart. Deliveries of the XUV 3XO will begin from February 23, 2026.
