Ultraviolette Automotive is on its way to an aggressive expansion in European nations and has now launched the F77 models in Spain and Portugal. This is a part of their strategy for global expansion, bringing forward Indian engineering and performance in the EV space to the world. The operations will be carried out by Rhino Electric Motor, which is the exclusive importer and distributor of Ultraviolette electric motorcycles in Europe.
With the launch of the F77 in Spain and Portugal, Ultraviolette is aiming to become one of the key players in the performance electric two-wheeler segment, which is currently a booming segment in European countries, thanks to ever-tightening emission regulations. The manufacturer is aiming to bring cutting-edge technology, safety, design and engineering standards to a global audience. After receiving a hearty response upon launch in France, Germany, and the Netherlands, among other European countries, the bikemaker has entered two new countries, both of which have deep-rooted motorcycling cultures.
The performance-oriented F77 motorcycle is powered by a 10.3kWh battery pack, which propels the motorcycle with peak outputs of 40PS and 100Nm, with a claimed top speed of 155kmph. It gets ten levels of regenerative braking, four levels of traction control, and switchable dual-channel ABS. The F77 Mach 2 is a sports-oriented motorcycle with a committed riding position aided by clip-ons, while the F77 Superstreet offers an upright riding posture with a conventional handlebar for a slightly more relaxed riding posture.
