Bajaj Auto has launched the Chetak 3201 Special Edition which is exclusively available on Amazon at an introductory price of ₹1,28,744 (ex-Showroom Bangalore). The scooter is available in only one colour. The looks are enhanced by “Chetak” stickering on the side panels along with a two-toned quilted seat. In terms of the tech aspects, the 3201 Chetak gets a monochrome TFT as standard, but it can be upgraded to a colour TFT by purchasing the ‘TecPac’.
The company has not mentioned the price for the upgrade to the ‘TecPac’ but it gets features such as a TFT that supports Bluetooth connectivity, turn-by-turn navigation, and two riding modes (Sport and Eco). The Chetak 3201 gets a 3.2 kWh battery, which boasts a claimed top speed of 73 kmph, pack similar to the top-spec Premium variant but has a higher claimed range and charging time. While Bajaj has not mentioned the amount of units which will be sold of the 3201 variant, customers can buy it on Amazon through the convenience of their homes.
