Will the ROXX rock?

Mahindra has introduced the much-awaited Thar Roxx, commonly known as the Thar five-door, in India. Prices begin at Rs. 12.99 lakh (ex-showroom) for the petrol variant and Rs. 13.99 lakh (ex-showroom) for the diesel variant in the 4×2 MX guise. This new iteration enhances the three-door Thar by adding the convenience of two extra doors and a bench seat in the second row, offering improved practicality.

The exterior of the 2024 Mahindra Thar Roxx features a bold new grille, C-shaped LED DRLs, projector headlamps, circular fog lights, and dual-tone alloy wheels. The design includes rear door-mounted handles, and at the back, the Thar Roxx sports rectangular LED taillights and a tailgate-mounted spare wheel.

Inside the new Thar Roxx, you’ll find an array of impressive features, including a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity, a fully digital color instrument cluster, ventilated front seats, a panoramic sunroof, automatic climate control, rear AC vents, and dual-tone upholstery. We’re currently test-driving the Thar Roxx, and our review will be published soon.

The Thar Roxx is poised to compete with models like the Force Gurkha and Maruti Suzuki Jimny. However, it stands out with its full off-road kit and distinctive boxy SUV design.
