BMW has launched the F 450 GS in India with prices starting from ₹4.70 lakh ex-showroom, going up to ₹5.30 lakh ex-showroom for the top variant. Bookings for the F 450 GS are now underway, and deliveries will begin from June 2026.

The BMW F 450 GS is available in three variants – Base, Exclusive and Trophy Edition. The variants share the same engine but differ in features and components. It is powered by a 420cc liquid-cooled parallel-twin engine which produces 48PS and 43Nm and is paired with a 6-speed gearbox. Additionally, BMW’s Shift Assist Pro clutchless upshift and downshift is standard on the Exclusive and Trophy variants.

The motorcycle weighs 178kg and is suspended on a KYB upside-down fork and a preload and rebound adjustable monoshock at the rear. Braking duties are handled by a front Brembo setup and a Bybre rear unit. It also gets ABS Pro lean-sensitive braking, Dynamic Brake Control, and Dynamic Brake Light across all the variants.

In terms of features, the F 450 GS has a 6.5-inch TFT display with connectivity, heated grips, and adjustable levers. It also gets BMW’s ERC (Easy Ride Clutch), which is standard on the Trophy variant but can also be retrofitted on the other variants.

Designwise, the F 450 GS carries cues from the larger GS motorcycles in BMW’s lineup, including a tall stance and quad-LED DRLs, just like the BMW R 1300 GS. BMW is also offering a range of accessories for the motorcycle like cross-spoke wheels, windscreen options, luggage, handlebar risers, and different seat height options.

The BMW F 450 GS not only rivals directly with the Honda NX500 (which is also powered by a parallel-twin engine) but also the KTM 390 Adventure and the Royal Enfield Himalayan.
