The Hyundai Venue Gets Top Score In BNCAP Safety Rating

The Hyundai Venue and Venue N Line score 5 stars in the BNCAP safety rating, with Adult Occupant Protection (AOP) scores of 31.15 out of 32 and Child Occupant Protection (COP) scores of 44.46 out of 49.

In the frontal offset deformable barrier test, the Hyundai Venue scored 15.15 out of 16 points. It offers good protection to the driver’s head, neck, thighs, and feet, with adequate protection for the chest and shin region. For the co-passenger, it offers good protection across the body, with adequate coverage of the shin region. In the side movable barrier test, the Venue scored 16 out of 16 points, offering good protection to both the driver and co-passenger across the body.

In terms of Child Occupant Protection (COP), the venue scored 7.46 out of 8 in the frontal crash test and 4 out of 4 in the side crash test for the 18-month-old dummy. For the 3-year-old dummy, it got a perfect score with 8 out of 8 in the frontal crash test and 4 out of 4 in the side crash test.

These crash test ratings of the Hyundai Venue are better than most of the compact SUVs in the market in terms of AOP and COP, like the Tata Nexon, Mahindra 3XO, and Kia Syros. These rating apply to all the variants of the Hyundai Venue.
