Maruti Suzuki stays in top position – exports 3.95 lakh vehicles in 2025

Export volumes saw over 21 percent year-on-year growth in 2025

Maruti Suzuki India Limited has announced that it has exported 3.95 lakh passenger vehicles in 2025, which is 21 percent higher than that of 2024 in the passenger vehicle segment. For comparison, Maruti Suzuki exported 2.05 lakh units in 2021. This makes the manufacturer the leading exporter of passenger vehicles for the company.

In the year 2025, Maruti Suzuki India has exported 18 of its models to over 100 countries. The car maker also began with the export of its first Battery Electric Vehicle (BEV), the eVITARA, starting in August 2025 and over 13,000 units have already been exported to 29 countries, primarily in Europe.

Maruti Suzuki exports various models from India, including the Fronx, Jimny, Baleno, Swift, Dzire, Celerio, Grand Vitara and Ertiga. The exports serve markets across Africa, Latin America, the Middle East, Asia, and Japan, making the car maker one of the key exporters of passenger vehicles from India.
