Tata has introduced the Sierra Legend Series, a five-variant line-up starting at ₹12 lakh ex-showroom that brings features from the Sierra’s top-end trim down to entry-level trims. The Legend Series will be sold alongside Tata’s existing Signature Series, effectively giving Sierra buyers a second, feature-focused line-up to choose from. The changes are limited entirely to equipment — there is no new styling and no mechanical revision over the standard car.
The base Smart+ L starts the range at ₹12 lakh and already carries leatherette seats, door trims and armrests, steering-mounted controls, auto-fold ORVMs and 17-inch steel wheels with covers, layered on the Sierra’s standard six airbags, ESP, all-wheel disc brakes and an electronic parking brake with Auto Hold. At ₹13.79 lakh, the Pure L brings in a 10.2-inch infotainment system with an eight-speaker audio setup, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a rear camera and cruise control, alongside City and Sport drive modes, Hill Descent Control, tyre pressure monitoring and 17-inch alloy wheels.
The Pure L(O), priced at ₹14.29 lakh, adds a voice-assisted panoramic sunroof, automatic headlamps and rain-sensing wipers to the Pure L’s kit. Moving to the Pure+ L at ₹15 lakh brings a bigger jump — a full leatherette interior, ventilated front seats, a six-way powered driver’s seat, Boss Mode, dual-zone automatic climate control and a rear 65W USB-C charging point. The range-topping Adventure+ L, at ₹17 lakh, adds a 360-degree camera with blind spot monitoring, terrain modes, a larger 12.3-inch infotainment screen and a reclining 60:40 rear seat.
The Sierra Legend Series continues with the same 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol paired with either a 6-speed manual or 7-speed DCT, a 1.5-litre diesel paired with either a 6-speed manual or 6-speed automatic, and a 1.5-litre turbo-petrol paired with a 6-speed automatic-only.
The Sierra Legend Series is priced from ₹12 lakh for the Smart+ L to ₹17 lakh for the Adventure+ L, all ex-showroom, and sits alongside the existing Signature Series in Tata’s line-up.
