Maruti Suzuki India Limited has introduced ‘Smart Maintenance Plan’ (SMP), which is a flexible, customer-centric, prepaid after-sales maintenance program to provide a seamless ownership and service experience for existing customers.
All Maruti Suzuki customers, including private and commercial car owners, are eligible to subscribe to SMP. Customers can subscribe to a suitable plan for themselves either when purchasing the vehicle or at a later date. The subscription can be purchased from any Maruti Suzuki authorised workshop.
Under the Smart Maintenance Plan, customers can choose from a range of services provided based on their specific needs. The subscription plans include – Labour-only, Parts and Labour, Commercial Vehicle Minor Services, Customer Demanded services, along with engine oil and coolants. To offer peace of mind to customers, SMP also offers optional wear-and-tear coverage for select parts like the clutch and brake.
By subscribing to SMP, customers can save a minimum of 10 percent on the labour cost, along with additional savings on parts and consumable items. The plan also offers protection against future inflation of services which are covered under SMP.
Customers can select among the various plans of the SMP with multiple options for tenure and mileage like – 2 years/20,000km, 5 years/ 50,000km going up to 10 years/1,00,000km for private vehicles and 10 years/1,60,000km for commercial vehicles. The SMP is applicable pan-India, and customers can avail the services at any authorised Maruti Suzuki workshop irrespective of the location at which the SMP was purchased.
