Apart from the cosmetic updates, Ather has also updated the software on the 450X series. AtherStack 7 now brings voice-activated commands and features like Pothole+ Alerts and Crash Alerts, aimed at delivering a smoother and more intuitive riding experience.

Mechanically, the Ather 450X Overtones Series remains unchanged. It is powered by either a 2.9kWh or 3.5kWh battery pack, with the motor producing 6.4kW (8.7PS) and 26Nm. The 2.9kWh battery pack has a claimed IDC range of 126km, while the larger 3.5kWh battery pack offers a claimed IDC range of 161km. The motor and battery pack also continue to be IP-rated for dust and water resistance. Most of the cycle parts remain unchanged as well, including the front telescopic forks, rear monoshock, 12-inch alloy wheels, and front and rear disc brakes.

Additionally, Ather has updated the home charger, which is now a 900W unit. The new charger reduces charging times by up to 30 percent and can charge the 3.5kWh battery pack from 0-80 percent in a claimed 3 hours and 12 minutes, while a full charge takes a claimed 5 hours and 15 minutes.

Ather has also announced its upcoming mass-market electric scooter based on the EL platform it showcased last year at Ather Community Day. The new scooter is expected to be priced between ₹1 lakh and ₹1.25 lakh
