TURBOCHARGED May 2025 Issue:

It’s a red alert! The new generation Ducati Panigale V4 S is headlining our latest issue! We’ve ridden the superbike at the Buriram International Circuit in Thailand that hosted a round of MotoGP just a couple of months ago and can assure you, this new Panigale is probably the closest you can get to a full-blown race machine with its kind of tech, performance and handling. This, while feeling ridiculously easy to ride fast! This issue also features our review of two big names from the full-size SUV segment, the Volkswagen Tiguan R-Line and Škoda Kodiaq, both back in an all-new avatar. We’ve also driven MG Motor’s Windsor Pro, which helps India’s bestselling EV flex more muscle with an extended range. BMW gave its bestselling sedan, the 3 Series an update recently as well and this issue also features our review of the car. The BMW F 900 GS and Suzuki GSX-8R have also been put through their paces, besides which we’ve had biker and Bollywood actor Amit Sadh pen down yet another feature for us this time. All this and more, only in our May 2025 issue!

Andiamo!
There are good days, and then there are days like the one when we rode Ducati’s latest generation Panigale V4 S, throttle wide open, around the Buriram International Circuit in Thailand!

SpeedShifting
Could Hydrogen be the answer to both EV and ICE vehicle propulsion? Will we all have portable fuel cells in our biodomes? Hyundai and IOCL aim to ponder the answer to the first question with an extensive analysis and we peer into the crystal ball to figure out what it could mean for the future. On the other hand, the Lamborghini Temerario has been launched.

Car Reviews
We had been practising the art of the slide with the Mercedes-Benz E450 last month, so this month we have switched up to some more purpose-built weaponry— the BMW M340i, as well as the 330Li. We also drove the following cars in a more normal manner (doesn’t mean we went easy on them!): the Volkswagen Tiguan R-Line, Škoda Kodiaq, Kia Syros diesel and MG Windsor EV Pro.

Features
The Volkswagen Tiguan, in its latest innings in India, comes with a much sportier personality as it is being sold here in only the R-Line trim, the sportiest one Volkswagen has to offer. We also look at two motorsport events changing the landscape of grassroots motorsports in the country—one in Punjab and the other across the Northeastern states. We also take a peek behind the snowy curtain and see the way of life for Ladakhi nomads who have been as much a part of the fabric of the barren splendour of the region.

Take Two
For the past two issues, there have been six two-wheeler reviews each month, so we are continuing with that trend! The two-wheeled machinery is more varied than a Turkish Bazaar—we have the Ducati Panigale V4 S, the Suzuki GSX-8R, Aprilia Tuono 457, BMW F 900 GS, TVS iQube ST and the Ampere Magnus Neo. In other news, Yamaha has unveiled its second hybrid concept just two months after the first and the Suzuki Hayabusa sold in record numbers in India. Also, CFMoto has gone ‘lite’ for smaller-capacity motorcycles.

Turbo Life
It has not been possible to convince Ed to part with the Maruti Suzuki DZire while the team is enamored with the Hero Xtreme 125R’s handling. We’ve new riding gear this month, like a pair of Forma motocross boots, a Reise riding jacket and a KYT helmet. We’ve also tested out two new budget smartphones.
