2026 Maruti Suzuki Brezza turbo-petrol launched at ₹7.39 lakh

The 2026 Maruti Suzuki Brezza comes with minor cosmetic updates and a new powertrain option

Maruti Suzuki has launched the updated Brezza with a turbo petrol engine option at an introductory ex-showroom price of ₹7.39. It packs new features, a new engine option, and light cosmetic tweaks rather than a ground-up redesign.

Changes on the outside are minor; the SUV picks up a triangular insert around the fog lamps, a new grille, a new front bumper, revised door cladding, a new design for the 16-inch alloy wheels, and an underbody-mounted CNG tank.

The cabin borrows heavily from the Victoris. It gets a 10.1-inch infotainment screen, ventilated front seats, 64-colour ambient lighting, an air purifier, and new controls for HVAC borrowed from the Victoris. A wireless charging pad with active cooling is also offered.

The headline mechanical update is a new 1.0-litre Boosterjet three-cylinder turbo-petrol engine producing 110PS and 170Nm, paired with a six-speed manual. The 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol continues alongside it, available with a manual or automatic, and remains the engine for the CNG version, which now uses the underbody tank setup.

On the safety front, the Brezza now gets a tyre-pressure monitoring system, blind-spot warning, rear cross-traffic alert, safe exit warning and parking sensors at the front.

Prices for the 2026 Brezza start at ₹7.39 lakh (introductory ex-showroom); however, this price is for the turbo petrol variant; prices for other variants are yet to be revealed.
