Renault Duster Scores 5-Stars In BNCAP Safety Rating Test

The Renault Duster has been awarded 5-stars in the BNCAP safety rating. Delivering competitive performance, the new Duster has scored 30.49 out of 32 in the Adult Occupant Protection and 45 out of 49 in Child Occupant Protection.​

Conducted on the EVOLUTION, TECNO and ICONIC variants of the SUV, the 5-star certification applies to the entire range of the Duster. Built on the RGMP (Renault Group Modular Platform), which provides enhanced structural rigidity to the vehicle.​

The new Duster comes equipped with 35 safety features as standard, which include – Electronic Stability Program (ESP), six Airbags, Hill Hold and Hill Descent Control, Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS), ISOFIX Child Seat Anchors, 3-point seatbeat for all passengers and seatbelt reminder.​

Additionally, the SUV offers 17 Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS), which include – Adaptive Cruise Control, Lane Keep Assist, Autonomous Emergency Braking, Blind Spot Detection, etc.​

Duster

The Renault Duster has been launched in India with prices starting at ₹10.49 lakh and goes up to 18.49 lakh ex-showroom. In its segment, it competes with other midsize SUVs such as the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Honda Elevate, Volkswagen Taigun, and the Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara.
