The Maruti Suzuki Dzire has crossed three million cumulative sales, making it India’s highest-selling sedan and car for the calendar year 2025, with 2,14,488 units sold. It is also the most fuel-efficient sedan, achieving 24.79kmpl in petrol MT and 33.73kmpl in S-CNG mode.
First introduced in 2008 as the ‘Heart Car’, it introduced segment-first features like dual airbags, climate control, and ABS. Since then, the nameplate has evolved over four generations.
