Royal Enfield has organised its first-ever Himalayan Base Camp this year in Leh, Ladakh, bringing together motorcycle enthusiasts from different parts of the country for three days of riding, music and community experiences. The event witnessed a strong turnout, with riders travelling from various states to be part of the celebration in the Himalayas.

The event, spread across three days, featured a range of activities designed to give riders a memorable experience. Live music performances, organised rides and interactive stalls kept the atmosphere lively, while several brands showcased their products and offerings. Reise Moto was among the participants, adding to the event’s focus on motorcycling and the wider riding community.

One of the highlights for me was the ‘Uncharted Perimeter Ride’, organised by Alpinestars, with Jamie leading the group. Riding through the beautiful landscapes of Ladakh made the experience truly special. The changing terrain and stunning mountain views offered a different perspective on motorcycling, making the ride one of the most memorable parts of the event.

Royal Enfield also used the occasion to launch the new Himalayan 440, adding another significant moment to the three day gathering. The launch brought further excitement to an event that celebrated the brand’s connection with adventure motorcycling.

What stood out throughout the Himalayan Base Camp was the effort to keep riders engaged through different experiences, whether on the road or at the venue. From music and brand stalls to organised rides and other activities, there was something for everyone.

With its first edition bringing together riders from across India, the Himalayan Base Camp proved to be more than just a motorcycling event. It was an opportunity for riders to connect, share their experiences and enjoy the spirit of adventure in the heart of Ladakh.
