Mercedes-Benz has launched the GLE 300d AMG Line, priced at around Rs 97.85 lakh (ex-showroom). It is powered by a 2.0-litre four-cylinder engine producing 269PS and 550Nm, with a claimed 0-100 kmph acceleration time of 6.9 seconds.
The GLE 300d AMG Line now boasts striking 20-inch AMG 5-twin-spoke light-alloy wheels in tremolite grey. Enhancing the driving experience, the brake system is upgraded with larger perforated discs at the front axle. Mercedes-Benz has extended the ‘AMG Line’ styling package to all three variants of the GLE SUV: GLE 300d, GLE 450d, and GLE 450.
All models come equipped with powerful ISG-assisted engines paired with a 9G-TRONIC automatic transmission. Inside, the second generation of the MBUX (Mercedes-Benz User Experience) infotainment system offers intuitive controls and cutting-edge connectivity. The Burmester surround sound system, featuring 13 speakers and a system output of 590 watts, ensures an immersive audio experience.
Styling elements with AMG influence include a distinctive diamond grille, AMG front and rear aprons, and color-matched front and rear wing flares. Air outlets on the rear wings add to the sporty and refined appearance.
Mercedes Benz says that it is the most successful SUV in the lineup.
