The Volvo EM90 will also be an all-electric offering

Volvo is stepping into a realm they’ve never done before and that is attempting to make an MPV in their own image. Well, that’s now a reality as they have teased what it calls the EM90 for the first time and it will also run on electric propulsion.

While the teaser only gives us an overhead view of the EM90, they’ve already got one box ticked for the MPV which is appearing to be big enough to accommodate three rows of seats. Also present is a panoramic sunroof for the rear occupants with a separate opening for the front row occupants.

Aside from the fact that it is electric, Volvo claims it’ll be a “Scandinavian living room on the move.” So, we can safely say it will have a minimalist, but tech-laden cabin, following a similar philosophy to the Volvo EX30 and EX90 SUVs while also focusing on space and comfort.

All details on the upcoming Volvo EM90 will surface when the electric MPV breaks cover on November 12, 2023. Nevertheless, expect more breadcrumbs to surface on the MPV as we get closer to the unveiling.
