Pre-bookings for the model have commenced while prices will be announced in the upcoming month

The Volkswagen Virtus GT Edge limited edition can now be specced with a new Carbon Steel Grey Matte shade. Interested customers can book the sedan by visiting the manufacturer’s website. The prices will be announced in October 2023, with deliveries starting soon after on a first come first served basis.

Speaking of the new shade, the Matte finish is complemented by red accents on the outside, while the interior gets cherry red leatherette upholstery, red ambient lighting, and aluminium pedals. The rest of the package remains as it is, with a 10-inch infotainment screen, tyre pressure monitoring system and six airbags being a few highlight features of the sedan. Earlier, the limited edition sedan was only available with a Deep Black Pearl shade.

The Virtus GT Edge limited edition continues to be powered by a 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engine that puts out 150PS and 250Nm. It gets two transmission options in the form of a six-speed manual gearbox and a seven-speed DSG.

The midsize sedan faces ample competition in the form of the Hyundai Verna, Honda City, Skoda Slavia and Maruti Suzuki Ciaz.
