Intercity travelling on the Ultraviolette F77 electric motorcycle will soon be convenient as the electric bikemaker has announced the roll-out of its DC fast charging infrastructure called the Supernova.
There will be two fast chargers on offer – a 6kW called the Supernova and 12kW called the Supernova Plus, both of which use a Type-6 connector. In phase 1, Ultraviolette will be rolling out 100+ chargers placed at strategic spots like key motorcycling spots, popular cafes and major highways. The electric bikemaker says 10 of them are already operational in Maharashtra, Karnataka and Tamil Nadu.

Ultraviolette F77 is offered in three variants – Original, Recon and Space Edition. The Original variant gets a 36.2PS motor coupled with a 7.1kWh battery pack that offers an IDC claimed range of 206km. The higher models get a more powerful 40.5PS electric motor powered by a 10.3kWh battery pack that allows an IDC claimed range of 307km on a single charge.
The prices for the Ultraviolette F77 range starts at Rs 3.80 lakh, ex-showroom.
