If you are an avid motorcycle and travelling enthusiast, a trip to the Himalayas on a Royal Enfield must surely be on your bucket list. While you could rent motorcycles from the local rental operators, there is always a doubt about how well maintained they are. To solve this problem, Royal Enfield has launched its new Rental Programme.
The bikemaker has paired up with over 40 rental operators across 25 cities including popular travel destinations like Leh, Dharamshala, Manali, Haridwar, Rishikesh,Goa, Kochi, Chandigarh, Mumbai, Ahmedabad, etc. Over 300 Royal Enfield motorcycles will be distributed across these cities and it will be maintained by the bikemaker, ensuring better peace of mind.
Mohit Dhar Jayal, Chief Brand Officer, Royal Enfield, said, “Our extended family of motorcycle rental and tour operators and mechanics have played a critical role in shaping our culture and mission of pure motorcycling. Alongside our efforts, the people of this extended ecosystem have built wider access and aspiration for our motorcycles. Our new Royal Enfield Rentals initiative will enable access for riders to rent a motorcycle anywhere in India, and it will also enhance the level of support we offer to all motorcycle rental operators who represent the backbone of our ecosystem across tourist and rider destinations everywhere”.
Considering how popular Royal Enfields are among travel enthusiasts, this feels like a step in the right direction for the manufacturer. Customers will get to experience the motorcycles, without having to purchase it, and who knows it might convince one to buy one for themselves, eventually helping the brand.
