Rolls-Royce has unveiled the Black Badge Ghost Gamer, a one-off model designed as a tribute to classic era 8-bit arcade games. Customised for a tech entrepreneur this build brings together ultra-luxury and vintage era gaming.
On the outside, the Ghost Gamer wears a dual-tone finish giving it a game arcade machine-like look. A hand-painted “Cheeky Alien” graphic runs across the body, which is made using 89 tiny pixel-like squares.
Coming to the interior, the 8-bit theme continues. The seats are embroidered with ‘Player 1’ and ‘Player 2’ in 8-bit font, while the headrests feature pixelated alien icons, just like a vintage arcade.
The cabin lighting is just as creative. The Starlight Headliner has been redesigned into a ‘Pixel Blaster’ setup, with 80 fibre-optic battlecruisers and laser-like beams. The dashboard features a ‘Laser Base’ design showing a starship made from illuminated stars, flying through a pixel-style universe. Even the doors come with glowing artwork like “Press Start, Insert Coin and Level Up, all written in 8-bit inspired format.
We think that the Black Badge Ghost Gamer looks absolutely amazing and perhaps reflects the taste of the owner and the level of customisation Rolls-Royce can offer when it comes to personal taste.
