Porsche Design in collaboration with Puma has developed the 3D MTRX sneakers, with an innovative 3D-printed midsole made of a lattice based on the Porsche Design logo. Porsche Design also claims that these shoes can recover 83 percent energy which is on par with most high-end running shoes, but Porsche Design also points out that the 3D lattice structure offers exceptional cushioning, which is something high-end running shoes aren’t exactly known for. The upper is made of full-grain leather and packs an evoKNIT textile lining, while ultralight design elements made of high-quality carbon fibre reinforce the connection with Porsche’s iconic sports cars.
