Vespa has announced a four-day celebration in Rome to mark its 80th anniversary. The event, titled ‘Vespa Roma’, is scheduled to take place from 25 June to 28 June 2026 and will bring together Vespa enthusiasts, clubs, and collectors from all over the world.

The event will be hosted at the Stadio dei Marmi and will be transformed into a Vespa Village for the occasion. Vespa will welcome people at the event and take them through the brand’s history and also showcase its future plans along with a display of a collection of some of the oldest and most historic Vespa models together with its current range.The main stage at the event will host special guests and have non-stop entertainment for the attendees. Additionally, Vespa Clubs are expected to visit the calibration from around 60 countries.

Inauguration of the Vespa Village will happen on 25 June with the ribbon-cutting ceremony and will start with the presentation of the ‘Commemorative Coin’ – issued by the Italian Ministry of Economy & Finance and minted by the Istituto Poligrafico e Zecca dello Stato – and the Poste Italiane first-day cancellation ceremony. Along with that, the opening of ‘80 Years of Vespa’ photo exhibition curated by Giacomo Bretzel highlighting the brand’s cultural and social impact through photographs.

The next day will see a flurry of events like the European Vespa Rally Championship and the Gymkhana World Championship, along with renowned DJs playing live music throughout. The following day will host the Grand Parade with thousands of Vespa scooters from every era riding across the streets of Rome, along with prize distribution ceremonies for the championships. The final day will see the parade of some of the rarest and highly prized Vespa models, along with music events, which will conclude the event.
