The Grand Vitara’s S-CNG version returns with updates for 2025

Maruti Suzuki has re-launched the updated Grand Vitara S-CNG, targeting buyers seeking alternative fuel options in the mid-size SUV segment. Priced between ₹13.48 lakh and ₹15.62 lakh, ex-showroom, the 2025 model is available in Delta and Zeta variants and introduces six airbags as standard across both variants.

The Grand Vitara S-CNG delivers an impressive claimed mileage of 26.6 km/kg, positioning it as a practical choice for cost-conscious buyers. Available exclusively with a five-speed manual transmission, it gets Maruti Suzuki’s naturally-aspirated 1.5-litre four cylinder engine calibrated for CNG operation, which generates 88PS and 122Nm

Infotainment is handled by a 9-inch ‘SmartPlay Pro+’ touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity. The cabin incorporates an air purifier with PM 2.5 display, automatic climate control, and ventilated front seats. Additional convenience features comprise a wireless charging dock, steering-mounted audio controls, and a premium Clarion sound system.

Safety equipment extends beyond the standard six airbags to include ABS with EBD, electronic stability program, hill-hold assist, and ISOFIX child seat anchors. The vehicle also features a tyre pressure monitoring system and 17-inch alloy wheels.

The factory-fitted S-CNG system includes a multi-information display allowing drivers to monitor both petrol and CNG consumption patterns. The rear passengers benefit from the integrated rear sunshades and the SUV offers 398 litres of boot space. .

The Grand Vitara S-CNG combines SUV practicality with CNG economics, offering a comprehensive package for urban families seeking lower running costs without compromising on essential features and safety standards.
