As we get closer to the start of the upcoming CEAT Indian Supercross Racing League, a fourth team has been announced with a familiar name, called BigRock Motorsport. What’s more, it will be headed by Indian rally veteran, as well as the pioneer of the country’s Dakar exploits, CS Santosh who will also be the mentor of the squad. CS Santosh will be joined alongside N Gautam and Uday Shankar as co-owners of the team.

Uday Shankar, Co-owner BigRock Motorsports said, “Our goal is to make motorsport accessible to everyone and enable Indian talent to compete at the highest international levels. In collaboration with CEAT ISRL, BigRock Motorsport is committed to realising this vision by providing the essential infrastructure, training, and opportunities.”
When it comes to the ISRL, the league is slated to have up to 8 brand-based teams for its first season, with 75 riders having already registered for it. Riders will be selected by an auction, competing in the 450cc International, 250cc International, 250cc India-Asia and the Junior class which is an 85cc category for riders aged 11-14. Each team will have two riders per category with a reserve rider for the Indian category.
The inaugural season is set to commence in December, with the league planning on expanding to six venues next year for Season 2.
