The Bentley Bentayga X Concept is a one-off meant to commemorate the partnership between Bentley and the FAT Ice Race, which is an event that has been going on since 1952. Bentley also wanted to gauge customer interest in a more offroad-focused version of its luxury SUV. While we are very interested, we are also not potential customers of it and whether Bentley will build a small batch of this purposeful machine is something that only time will tell.

Bentley has increased the ride height by 55 mm, and water wading depth has also gone up to more than 550mm. The track is widened as well, now measuring 120mm more than the one on the regular Bentayga Speed, which is the base for this creation. That also means the 4.0-litre twin-turbocharged V8 pumps out 650PS and 850Nm. Completing the car is a set of forged single-piece 22-inch wheel rims, created by wheel specialists Brixton.

There might exist a market for even more off-road oriented luxury SUVs, and if the Bentayga X heads to production, weight see a flurry of lifted and more hrdcore machines, with possible names such as Aston Martin DBX XC, Lamborghini Urus Sterrato, and Ferrari Purosangue M.
