Škoda has updated the 2026 Slavia, which sharpens the design further and adds a fresh set of features. Here’s everything you should know.
Most of the changes are concentrated at the front, with redesigned headlamps featuring new LED DRLs, an updated grille, a fresh bumper with a new pattern across the middle, new fog lamps, and redesigned 16-inch alloy wheels. Changes at the rear are milder in comparison; it gets redesigned tail lamps along with a new centre piece bearing the Škoda lettering. Škoda has also added two new paint options – Arctic Silver and Cappuccino Beige.
There’s a bunch of changes inside the cabin too. The dashboard gets a slightly different look, along with a 10-inch touchscreen infotainment system and a new 10.2-inch instrument cluster for the driver. The touchscreen also brings inbuilt connectivity and an AI assistant powered by Google Cloud, a segment-first feature according to Škoda. A new 360-degree area view camera has also been added.
In terms of features, it now gets electric adjustment for the front passenger seat, plus a new rear seat massager – another segment-first. That said, Slavia still misses out on any form of ADAS or a panoramic sunroof. The line-up also adds a new Classic+ variant, sitting between the existing Classic and Signature trims.
The choice of engines hasn’t changed – you still get the same three-cylinder 1.0-litre TSI or the four-cylinder 1.5-litre TSI. The 1.0-litre engine can now be paired with the same 8-speed torque converter automatic gearbox first seen on the Kushaq. The 6-speed manual continues alongside it, and the 1.5-litre engine carries on with the same 7-speed DSG as before.
The updated Slavia continues to carry a 5-star Global NCAP rating for adult and child occupant protection, and comes with 6 airbags and over 25 safety features as standard. It’s covered under Škoda’s Super Care programme, comprising a 4-year standard warranty, 4 free services, and 4 years of roadside assistance for vehicles purchased on or after January 1, 2026.
