Xiaomi SU7 Ultra Makes it to Gran Turismo 7

Xiaomi, along with video game developer Polyphony Digital Inc. (a subsidiary of Sony Interactive Entertainment Inc.), has announced the introduction of the Xiaomi SU7 Ultra in the popular racing simulation game Gran Turismo 7. The vehicle will be a part of the update package ‘Update 1.67 patch’ and will be available on PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 5 platforms.

Known as a benchmark for racing simulation games, Gran Turismo is known for its hyper-realistic driving experience. Additionally, the vehicle selection criteria are quite stringent with a focus on classic performance models from established global brands. The collaboration between Xiaomi and Polyphony Digital was announced on June 7, 2025.

​Kazunori Yamauchi, producer of the Gran Turismo series, test-drove the SU7 Ultra on multiple locations, including Beijing,  the Nürburgring Nordschleife and Tsukuba Circuit. His inputs to Xiaomi EV executives and engineering teams helped recreate a close-to-real driving experience of SU7 Ultra for the global players, with both parties building a highly precise digital model of the vehicle, ensuring the in-game rendition accurately captures the dynamics of the Xiaomi SU7 Ultra

Gran Turismo

The Xiaomi SU7 Ultra is powered by dual V8s and V6s Xiaomi Hyper Tri-Motor system, which delivers close to 1,569PS and 1,770Nm. The 800V high-voltage platform allows it to accelerate from 0-100kmph in a claimed 1.98 seconds. The SU7 Ultra features double-wishbone front suspension and a five-link rear suspension. It also has dual-chamber air springs paired with adaptive dampers, which offer a balance between precise handling and ride comfort. It offers a claimed CLTC range of 630km and charges from 10-80 percent in just 11 minutes.

Gran Turismo

In 2025. Xiaomi SU7 Ultra was showcased in multiple countries, including Spain, Singapore, Japan and Berlin, getting the attention of automotive professionals and enthusiasts alike. To celebrate the launch of the SU7 Ultra in Gran Turismo, Polyphony Digital will host a two-week official lap-time challenge for gamers worldwide, on the Monza Circuit in Gran Turismo 7
