VinFast has launched the VF MPV 7 in India, marking the Vietnamese brand’s third product in the country after the VF 6 and VF 7 electric SUVs. The three-row electric MPV is aimed at family buyers in the growing electric MPV segment.

The VF MPV 7 carries VinFast’s signature front-end design, featuring a full-width LED lightbar with a V-shaped DRL element integrated around the brand logo. The headlamps are positioned vertically on either end of the front fascia, alongside a closed-off lower bumper typical of an EV. At the rear, the taillamps sweep across in a wrap-around style, with an upright tail section finished off by a roof spoiler. The MPV measures 4,740mm in length, 1,872mm in width, and 1,734mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,840mm, which makes it pretty spacious. It rides on 19-inch alloy wheels. The VF MPV 7 will be available in six colour options: Infinity Blanc, Jet Black, Zenith Grey, Solar Ruby, Moonlit Ocean, and Introspective Brown.
On the inside, the cabin is finished in black with leatherette upholstery. It features a D-cut multi-function steering wheel with tilt and telescopic adjustment, a high centre console with cup holders, a six-way electrically adjustable driver’s seat, a wireless charger and dedicated air conditioning vents for all three rows. Automatic climate control with a PM2.5 air filter is also on offer. All windows feature a one-touch up-and-down function with anti-pinch as standard. The 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system supports wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, and also doubles as the driver’s display, showing speed, drive modes, battery percentage, and range, as the VF MPV 7 does not get a separate instrument cluster. The boot capacity is pretty decent at 126-litre and with both rows folded, the boot capacity expands to 1,240-litres!
Safety equipment includes ABS with EBD, brake assist, ESC, traction control, hill start assist, rollover mitigation, all-round disc brakes, an electronic parking brake with auto hold, and a tyre pressure monitoring system. The India-spec model gets six airbags as standard.
The VF MPV 7 is powered by a 60.13kWh battery pack paired with a front-mounted electric motor producing 204PS and 280Nm, with a 0-100kmph sprint time of under 9 seconds. VinFast claims a range of over 500km on a full charge as per MIDC standards. The MPV supports up to 80kW DC fast charging, enabling a 10 to 70 percent charge in approximately 30 minutes. Three driving modes, Eco, Normal, and Sport, are on offer, along with four levels of regenerative braking: Off, Low, Medium, and High.

Apart from this, VinFast offers three years of free maintenance, seven years of vehicle warranty, free RSA for seven years, and a ten-year battery warranty. Free charging at VinFast chargers till March 31 2029, and 75 percent assured buyback value on the e-MPV, along with ICE to EV transfer benefits, are also offered.
The VinFast VF MPV 7 is priced at ₹24.49 lakh, ex-showroom, and it will compete in the electric MPV segment against the likes of Kia Carens Clavis EV and Mahindra XEV 9S.
