• The TVS iQube hits the 50,000 sales milestone

These sales figures bode well for future EV adoption in the country

TVS’ iQube electric scooter has found quite a few takers across the nation as it has crossed the 50,000 sales milestone already, since its launch in May 2022. We believe the main reason for this is that the iQube has subtle design elements, and looks largely similar to other ICE offerings from TVS like the Jupiter.

The TVS iQube is currently offered in two variants - the standard and S. These variants come with a 3.4kWh battery that offers a claimed range of 100km. The S variant gets the larger seven-inch TFT display also found on the top-of-the-line ST variant. Speaking of the ST, it comes with a bigger 5.1kWh battery pack and therefore has a claimed range of 140km. The ST is expected to go on sale in a few weeks.

The TVS iQube managed to achieve these sales figures while facing competition from the Ola S1, the Ather 450X, and the Bajaj Chetak, with the Vida V1 joining the fray soon.
