Here is a closer look at the Hero Vida V1

Hero launched the Vida brand in March this year, and finally we have the first product, the Vida V1.

At the same time Hero is launching a Vida Platform and Vida Services for a worry-free EV ecosystem. The details of the two models of Vida V1 are as follows:

Vida V1 Plus:

Price: Rs. 1.45 lakh

Range: 143km

Acceleration: 0-40kmph in 3.4 seconds

Top speed: 80kmph

Vida V1 Pro:

Price: Rs. 1.59 lakh

Range: 165km

Acceleration: 0-40kmph in 3.2 seconds

Top speed: 80kmph

A long list of features is available on the Vida V1 scooters, like a removable battery, custom mode with 100+ combinations, seven-inch touch screen, cruise control with resume function, limp home mode with a top of speed 10kmph for 8km range at ultra-low battery levels, intelligent two-way throttle for reversing and boost function, and an SOS alert at the fingertip of the rider.

While talking about the Vida brand, Dr. Munjal said, “We had to get it absolutely right” in order to explain why Hero was not the first in the market with an EV two-wheeler, and they are proudly calling it India’s “not-first” electric scooter.

At this price range the Vida V1 will have the likes of the TVS iQube Electric, Ather 450X, Ola S1 Pro and Bajaj Chetak for company in India. We can’t wait to take the Vida V1 out for spin, so watch this space for our first ride review.
