It will be globally unveiled on October 16, 2022
Mercedes-Benz has revealed the interior of the upcoming EQE SUV for the first time. It is an SUV variant of the EQE sedan and will be fully uncovered on October 16, 2022.
Based on the Mercedes-EQ platform, the main highlight in the cabin is a 12.8-inch OLED infotainment screen and a 12.3-inch instrument cluster as standard. You can also get the massive MBUX Hyperscreen, seen on other vehicles of the brand’s EQ-lineup as an option.
The air vents have a turbine-like design and the rest of the interior uses a combination of avant garde as well as traditional materials like trims of wood, aluminium and fine metal pigments with a 3D-anthracite finish. Colour combinations of the warm brown tone and the cool neva grey tone have been used by the brand to create a contrasting yet inviting ambience in the cabin.
On the exterior, we expect the EQE SUV to carry a design language that combines elements of both the EQE sedan and EQS SUV along with its own individual stylistic elements. As such, it should get sleek headlamp units with a closed glossy front grille and slim tail lamps with an LED bar connecting them.
Under the hood, it should be available with three variants - one variant equipped with a single motor and the other two equipped with one motor at each axle making them all wheel drive and performance figures ranging from 360PS - 544PS and 568Nm - 858Nm.
We expect the Mercedes EQE SUV to launch in India sometime in 2023 after its global unveiling.
