The biggest highlight of the Nexon EV Max comes in the form of a 40.5kWh Lithium-ion battery pack that offers 33 percent more battery capacity and increased range of up to 437km (claimed). The power output too has been increased and now the EV delivers 105kW (143PS) and 250Nm, which is 10kW (14PS) and 5Nm more than the standard model resulting in faster 0-100kmph that now is achieved in under nine seconds.
Charging option too has been expanded and now the customers can choose from a 3.3kW or a 7.2kW AC fast charger. The 7.2kW charger takes 6.5 hours to fully charge the battery pack and the customers can also opt for a 50kW DC fast charger that takes less than an hour for 0-80 percent of charging. The power delivery can be tamed through three drive modes (Eco, City and Sport) as per the driver’s convenience.
