Vespa has launched the Officina 8 special edition scooter in the Indian market at ₹1.34 lakh, ex-showroom Maharashtra. The Officina 8 commemorates the ‘officina sperimentale’, the department that developed and tested a number of technologies that made Vespas so beloved.

Select dealerships across the country will have the Vespa Officina 8 available, and it will be available in a single colour – matte metallic blue, with gold wheels and badging. Vespa will also provide a helmet in a matching shade as standard with the scooter. The gold bits represent a brass aesthetic, and metallic rivets are present as well.

It being a Vespa, there is a whole range of accessories, apparel and merchandise that has gone on sale with the same aesthetic. There is no word on whether the Vespa Officina 8 will be a limited to a specific number, but we do know that it is an interesting take on the iconic Vespa design.
