The Space Edition incorporates materials and technology from the aerospace industry

Coinciding perfectly with the historic achievement of ISRO with the Chandrayaan 3 mission being a success, Ultraviolette, which already utilises aerospace technology has launched a 10-unit limited edition of its F77 supersports electric motorcycle, dubbed the F77 Space Edition. The price is also cosmic, costing Rs 5.6 lakh, ex-showroom – a premium of Rs 1.8 lakh over the base model.

The F77 Space Edition gets multiple distinctive Space Edition badges and a unique paint scheme in white and bright orange. It also gets custom machined aerospace grade aluminium 7075 parts, even the key is made out of a solid block of 7075 aluminium. The paint itself is aerospace grade, which offers a high level of corrosion, UV, fade and chemical resistance, as well as thermal stability. Not just that, the electronics (which Ultraviolette likes to call avionics, for obvious reasons) of the Space Edition gets multiple fail-safes like a fighter jet and a nine-axis IMU.

Update: amazingly, despite the price premium, the F77 Space Edition was sold out in just 90 seconds, which makes us wonder what else is in the pipeline from Ultraviolette.
