Among the festivities of TVS Motosoul 3.0, TVS has launched the updated Apache RTR 160 4V. The new model is priced at Rs 1.35 lakh, ex-showroom. For the modest price increase over the last-generation model, there’s a bunch of upgrades, starting with a 2kg weight loss, dual-channel ABS and three ride modes – Rain, Urban and Sport. There is a minor power bump as well – from 17.55PS to 17.63PS.
It also has a new Lightning Blue shade and adjustable levers for the special edition model. It also has Glide Through Technology which prevents the engine from stalling at low rpms. The RTR 160 4V also has a rear monoshock, something that sets it apart from the RTR 160 2V and the RTR 180, both of which received dual-channel ABS last year.
The updates bring the RTR 160 4V more in line with its direct competitor, the Hero Xtreme 160R 4V and its indirect rival, the Bajaj Pulsar N160.
