Triumph has unveiled the updated versions of the Trident 660 and Tiger Sport 660, with major changes centred around the 660cc triple. Alongside mechanical changes, both motorcycles receive new graphics and model-specific updates. Before diving into the individual bikes, here’s a look at the changes made to the engine.
The engine now produces 95PS, marking an increase of 14PS. Torque output has also been increased to 68Nm (previously 64Nm) with over 80 percent of it available from 3,000rpm up to 12,000rpm. Key hardware updates include a shift from a single throttle body to three individual throttle bodies, a larger front-mounted airbox, improved cooling, a new 3-into-1 exhaust header, and a slip-and-assist clutch.

The Trident 660 introduces a wider fuel tank, split seating, and a revised headlamp design. A tweaked chassis and Showa rear suspension with preload and rebound adjustments has also been added.

The Tiger Sport 660 gets new radiator cowls, a refreshed front-end design, and a larger 18.6-litre fuel tank (previously a 17.2-litre one).

Both models are expected to arrive at Triumph dealerships in the UK from March 2026, so we can hope for an India launch towards the later part of this year.
Upon launch, the Trident 660 will compete with the Honda CB650R, Kawasaki Z650RS and the Ducati Scrambler Icon Dark, while the Tiger Sport 660 will compete with the Kawasaki Versys 650 and the Honda CB500X.
