Tata Motors has announced the pricing of the Harrier and Safari petrols that were revealed last month. The Harrier is the more affordable one with a starting price of ₹12.89 lakh ex-showroom, and the Safari petrol range starts at ₹13.29 lakh ex-showroom. The prices go all the way up to ₹24.69 lakh for the Harrier petrol with the #Dark exterior, fearless ultra red interior trim, and automatic gearbox. The Safari petrol range tops out at ₹25.20 lakh with the same combination of gearbox, exterior colour, and trim options as the Harrier mentioned before.
The 1.5-litre T-GDi Hyperion engine is common to both, and puts out 170PS and 280Nm. It is one of the most technologically advanced drivelines in the segment with a variable vane turbo, variable valve timing, direct injection, and automatic gearbox. The 6 speed torque converter offer manual control and has paddle shifters.
Two new exterior colours and interior trim colours make their debut with the petrol variants of the Harrier and Safari, as do a host of other features like integrated dashcam, the 14.5-inch qLED touchscreen from the Harrier EV, a 10 speaker surround JBL audio system, integrated front and rear dashcams, and side mirrors that now have their position memorised along with the seat memory. Safety remains among the best in segment, with a 5-star BNCAP rating and level 2+ ADAS features.
