The Tata Altroz has been given a facelift for 2025, and the price will be announced when the car is launched on May 22, 2025. We expect a price hike of roughly ₹30,000 across the board, taking the current ex-showroom starting price of ₹6.65 lakh to ₹6.95 lakh.
The new Tata Altroz comes with a 3D front grille, which gives it a very different presence compared to the mesh grille found on the current version. It also gets new LED lighting, namely new ‘Luminate LED Lamps’ at the front and ‘Infinity’ connected LED tail lamps.
The new Tata Altroz will also come with flush-fitting door handles, which has usually been the exclusive preserve of cars from higher segments. The updates continue inside, with improved comfort quotient (we will be able to tell you more when we review the car) and richer materials throughout the cabin.
The new Tata Altroz also has a more tech-focused human-machine interface—it sports something called a ‘Grand Prestigia’ dashboard which is flanked by ‘UltraView’ twin HD screens that take care of the infotainment.
The new Tata Altroz will be offered in five colours–Dune Glow, Ember Glow, Pure Grey, Royal Blue and Pristine White. The engine choices should remain the same for now, with four different engine options comprising two petrol motors, one CNG and a diesel.
The base petrol is offered with either a 5-speed manual or a 6-speed dual-clutch, while the Altroz Racer with the 120PS turbocharged petrol comes only with a 6-speed manual. The CNG and the diesel both get 5-speed manuals.
The Tata Altroz is usually the carmaker’s fourth best-selling model, after the Nexon, Punch and Tiago, however, with these new updates it might very well climb a step or two in the Tata Motors’ sales hierarchy.
