Corse

The first thing that catches the attention of the onlooker is the unconventional case shape of the Corse. The brushed and polished stainless-steel case, measuring 43mm, houses a quartz chronograph movement. Interestingly, the pushers are mounted at the top, no doubt keeping in mind the operation while riding a motorcycle.

Ducati

The pushers are also different colours – red and black. The black pusher gets the same ion plating black (IPB) finish as the case. The watch is seen here with a silicone strap, but is also offered with a stainless bracelet. There’s a mineral glass protecting the dial, which has red honeycomb detailing recalling exhaust meshes like we see on Ducati motorcycles.

Extreme Sports (Round)

The dial’s intricate patterns mimic that of the tubular steel trellis frames of many a motorcycle from Borgo Panigale. As for the chronograph sub-dials, those are designed to evoke the aura of the instruments from the cockpit of Ducati bikes.

The watch has larger-than-average pushers for the chronograph function, presumably for operation with gloved hands. The 44mm case comes in a brushed stainless-steel finish, while the tachymetre bezel gets an ion plating black (IPB) finish. The water resistance is 5 ATM, which translates to roughly 50 metres of depth.

Extreme Sports (Tonneau)

Despite sharing the name with the one above, this watch has a distinctly different tonneau-shaped case, unlike a circle. Presumably for this reason, the watch utilises the VD31 calibre instead of the YM12 that powers the round-dial model. It is a lot chunkier as well, with a case thickness measuring 15.9mm, as opposed to 13.8mm of both the watches above.

Ducati

The exposed screws add an industrial touch. The layered construction of the dial comes with aggressive geometric overlays, while the sub-dials are deep-set, mimicking that of a rider’s google from the days gone by. A curved mineral glass adds the necessary protection.
