The landscape of riding gloves is dominated by sober colours and hidden knuckle protection, so the Tiivra Street gloves come across as a breath of fresh air with its brightly-coloured graphics and exposed knuckle protection, which gets some yellow highlights as well. In terms of protection, the palms are made of Tiivra’s signature Kaitai microfiber which offers excellent grip and reasonable cushioning. 

It gets a TPR slider, but one of the best features is the airflow channels built into the knuckle protection, thereby offering a higher level of ventilation – a feature not seen on daily riding gloves which are the ones that need it most. The touch-sensitive padding is placed well, so it was pretty easy to operate my phone without taking the gloves off. It is holding up really well, too, and has become my default choice for longer
