The main highlight is on the inside, it gets three rows and a seating of up to six people, the third row has ample space with one-touch folding operation. The middle row gets electrically adjustable captain seats which comes with heating and ventilation, along with electric arm rests and one-touch folding operation. The front row also gets heated and ventilated seats with 16-way electric adjustability, it also gets a 16-inch display with most of the operations baked into it, and an 8-inch display for rear passengers. The interior also gets a new ‘Zen Grey’ shade.

The Tesla Model YL gets a dual-motor setup, meaning all-wheel drive capabilities and a claimed WLTP range of 681km. 0-100kmph in just five seconds with a top speed of 201kmph. Adaptive suspension with electronic damping is also offered for better handling.

Priced at ₹61.99 lakh, the Tesla Model YL is almost ₹2 lakh costlier than the standard Model Y and for that extra sum, it offers better performance and value.

The charging station consists a total of eight chargers, four DC V4 Superchargers with peak charging speeds of 250kW, and four AC destination chargers with peak charging speed of 11kW. The DC fast charger is capable of charging a Tesla Model Y with up to 275 kilometers of range in just 15 minutes. Customers can also use the Tesla app to navigate to Superchargers, check stall availability, monitor charging progress, receive a completion notification, and complete payment. 

Tesla has also launched a pop-up store at Nexus Seawoods in the main atrium, enabling visitors to explore the vehicles through guided walkarounds, test drives, and immersive product experience.

With the commissioning of this charging station, Tesla now operates four charging stations, In Gurugram, Delhi, Mumbai, and Navi Mumbai, with a total of 20 Superchargers and 14 Destination chargers. With this, Tesla aims to build a robust charging infrastructure across India.

Tesla Model Y Premium is one of the safest EVs, as it scored the highest ratings in NHTSA (U.S.), IIHS (U.S.), Euro NCAP (Europe), ANCAP (Australia and New Zealand), and C-IASA (China). It is yet to be tested at BNCAP, though. Using Tesla’s supercharging network, the Model Y Premium can get back up to 267km of range with just 15 minutes of charging.

Tesla Model Y Premium is available in two variants –  the standard rear-wheel drive, priced at ₹59.89 lakh (ex-showroom) with a WLTP range of 500km; and a Long Range rear-wheel drive variant, priced at ₹67.89 lakh (ex-showroom) with a WLTP range of 661km. A complimentary wall charger is also offered with the purchase of every Model Y. Customers can also buy the Model Y Premium at a monthly installment starting from ₹49,000, with a down payment of ₹6 lakh (The monthly EMI and down payment are based on a 7-year tenure and 8.5 percent APR under a step‑up EMI plan). Tesla is also offering an exchange incentive of ₹3 lakh to lower the cost of entry for its range of electric vehicles.
